Director, Strategy & Operations

Role Overview
The Director, of Strategy & Operations will be responsible for managing and executing high-impact client engagements. This role requires a highly analytical thinker with a data-driven mindset, a strong ability to structure and solve complex supply chain problems, and the willingness to personally dive into analytics when needed to uncover insights and drive strategic decision-making.
Beyond project execution, the Director will play a key role in building and scaling practice areas within Advatix, developing capabilities, methodologies, and solutions that enhance our consulting offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience in thought leadership, solution development, and knowledge management, enabling the company to continuously evolve and remain at the forefront of supply chain innovation.
Additionally, the Director will focus on driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and supporting business development efforts with new clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Execution
•     Lead and deliver supply chain transformation projects within scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring measurable impact.
•     Develop structured problem-solving approaches using analytical techniques to address operational inefficiencies.
•     Be hands-on with data—build, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to validate recommendations.
•     Maintain project governance, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
•     Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, leveraging data-backed insights to guide strategic decision-making.
•     Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on objectives and ensure smooth execution.
•     Develop compelling presentations and reports that translate complex analytics into actionable recommendations.
3. Practice Area Development & Thought Leadership
•     Identify and establish practice areas within Advatix, focusing on emerging trends, client needs, and industry gaps.
•     Develop methodologies, frameworks, and toolkits that can be standardized and scaled across engagements.
•     Lead internal capability-building efforts, including training programs, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and best practices.
•     Act as a thought leader by publishing insights, whitepapers, and presenting at industry conferences.
•     Drive innovation by identifying new service offerings, digital tools, and technology-enabled solutions.
4. Analytical & Strategic Problem Solving
•     Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess business performance and uncover optimization opportunities.
•     Personally lead deep-dive analytical exercises, ensuring that strategic recommendations are grounded in data.
•     Leverage advanced analytics tools, automation, and technology to enhance decision-making.
•     Stay ahead of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in supply chain analytics.
5. Revenue Growth & Business Development
•     Identify opportunities for expansion within existing client accounts through insights-driven consulting.
•     Support proposal development, solution design, and client presentations with data-backed recommendations.
•     Partner with internal teams to enhance Advatix’s consulting offerings, ensuring a strong data-centric approach.
6. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
•     Implement best-in-class methodologies, frameworks, and tools to improve service delivery.
•    Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, encouraging teams to utilize analytics to enhance performance.
•    Mentor and develop junior team members, especially in analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
•    10+ years of experience in supply chain strategy, consulting, or operations, with a strong focus on analytics and practice development.

•     Exceptional analytical skills—must be comfortable handling large data sets, building models, and drawing insights
•     Proven experience in developing methodologies and institutionalizing best practices. Experience in building and scaling practice areas is a plus
•     Hands-on experience with PowerPoint and analytics tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
•     Proven success in managing multiple projects and driving revenue growth through data-driven solutions
•.    Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of structuring complex challenges into actionable strategies
•     Ability to influence senior stakeholders using compelling, data-driven storytelling
•     Background in management consulting or an internal strategy/operations leadership role in a supply chain organization is preferred
  • MBA in Supply Chain & Finance preferred, Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field
