For this unique role, Intelerad is seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, trustworthy and fiercely resourceful Director of Strategic Finance to play a critical role in shaping the Company's long-term business strategy and execution. Strategic Finance will enable the Company to develop and execute on our growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, built on strong relationships across the Company and grounded in data and analysis. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Strategic Finance, reporting to our SVP of Finance. In this role, you will partner closely with all business units and functions across the Company, representing an elite surgical team responsible for improving strategic and financial decision making for our businesses. You will also work closely with our Chief Financial Officer, PE Sponsors, Executive and Senior Leadership Teams across our Growth/GTM and Delivery engines. This role is highly analytical and strategic and requires an ability to seamlessly navigate between complex details and the big picture and juggle multiple projects at any given period of time. You will focus real-time on high-priority business issues and see your insights turned into impactful initiatives on a regular basis. The perfect candidate will have a blend of investment banking, strategy consulting, and/or private equity background paired with finance or operating experience at scaling technology/fintech businesses, strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with experience or interest in driving efficient, cross-functional initiatives. You are willing to embrace unstructured environments and problems, and enjoy manipulating large data sets in myriad systems (i.e. Netsuite, Salesforce, OpenAir, Zone), distilling complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans.

The candidate should have excellent work ethic and attention to detail, be able to operate independently and with limited direction and possess great interpersonal and communication skills. The work you prepare is Board-ready; you have ticked and tied all the numbers, and you are confident enough to present it to Management and the Board of Directors if asked. A team-oriented and hands-on work style is a must! We’re looking for a smart and ambitious self-starter who is passionate about building a forward-thinking Strategic Finance unit and changing the game in healthcare technology.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Working with the leadership team to develop comprehensive business analysis and financial models/metrics that lead to smart and strategic business decisions
  • Building a best-in-class enterprise Strategic Finance function that will provide data-driven insights and recommendations for better decision making and support the company's growth and value creation objectives
  • Manage the M&A integration efforts for future acquisitions
  • Work with Business Systems team to understand existing software tools and build automated data flows and reporting cross-functionally

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategy for the company through a financial lens, working cross-functionally with our business divisions and with the Delivery and Growth/GTM organizations, to identify, scope and monitor innovative growth opportunities and initiatives (organic and inorganic)
  • Develop data-driven investment thesis, business cases, and evaluation criteria for growth and cost efficiency-oriented initiatives and make recommendations by weighing trade-offs
  • Create, implement and oversee ROI models and OKRs for key strategic initiatives to provide visibility and accountability to ensure resources (financial and people) are prioritized and directed appropriately 
  • Evaluate and size revenue opportunities and investment costs - through thoughtful and pragmatic financial modeling - for new products, markets, & verticals and other initiatives
  • Collaborate with management and the Board to deliver meaningful financial and operating metrics, analytics and reports with which to manage the business, drive insight into the key value levers of the business, and enable revenue and profit growth 
  • Drive and support equity and debt fundraising processes 
  • Work closely and directly with the FP&A, Treasury and Accounting teams in financial goal setting and financial and capital structure planning 
  • Serve as the a go-to finance thought partner - the CFO in the room - for business leaders and convey data driven insights and recommendations for better decision making
  • Develop financial and analytical models and processes necessary to measure and evaluate Company's revenue and growth trajectory
  • Support Corporate Development team to build detailed pro forma acquisition models, identify and track synergies across the deal life cycle and partner with Delivery, Growth/GTM, and Business Operations engines to develop financial and analytical models measuring Company’s success at achieving desired acquisition EBITDA
  • Help to prepare Board presentations and updates to investors on Company performance

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • 8-10+ years of financial analysis experience with 3-5 years of progressive financial leadership
  • Strong executive presence and be comfortable and credible interfacing within executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and private-equity investors
  • In-depth working knowledge of the principles of financial statements, financial modeling, and ratio and trend analysis
  • Experience in calculating and forecasting Pro Forma EBITDA 
  • Experience with acquisition modeling and synergy identification / delivery tracking
  • Very advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
  • Comfortable in a fluid, high-growth environment and can effectively cope with change, shifting gears when needed to achieve results 
  • Must be operationally oriented with a keen focus on process, metrics, and results
  • Action-oriented and full of energy for the things you see as challenging 
  • Have a whatever it takes mindset - that no project is too big or too small
  • Excellent analytical, research, organizational and planning skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in investment banking and/or a PE-backed environment a plus
  • Experience working with and delivering meaningful insights from large data sets and complex integrations across SaaS platforms (i.e. Netsuite, Zone, OpenAir, Salesforce) a plus
