The Director of Strategic Community Development provides leadership in advancing Via Mobility Services' (VMS) mission through strategic fundraising, communications, grant development, community engagement, and external relations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that increase organizational awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships, diversify revenue opportunities, and position Via as a leader in innovative transportation solutions.

The starting pay range for this position is $105,000-$110,000

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Director of Strategic Community Development:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Journalism, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit development, communications, fundraising, grants management, public relations, or strategic planning.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing complex communications initiatives and community partnerships.
  • Experience working with nonprofit boards and executive leadership preferred.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Journalism, or related field
  • Master's degree
