QLIK REPORTING ANALYST / DEVELOPER

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Qlik Reporting Analyst / Developer to help build, maintain, and improve reports and dashboards that support business decisions. This person will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate reporting needs into accurate, reliable, and easy-to-use reporting solutions using Qlik. The role combines hands-on report development with ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, data validation, and user support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and enhance Qlik reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements
• Maintain existing reporting applications, including updating calculations, filters, layouts, and data connections as business needs evolve
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators, and business rules
• Create and maintain Qlik data models and load scripts that combine information from multiple sources
• Validate report results against source data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor scheduled data reloads, troubleshoot failures, and resolve reporting issues.
• Improve report performance, usability, and reliability
• Document reporting logic, data sources, dependencies, and maintenance procedures
• Support user testing, communicate changes, and provide guidance to report users
• Follow established data security, access, and change management practices

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView
• Working knowledge of Qlik load scripting, expressions, and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data
• Ability to translate business questions into clear reporting requirements and practical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to explain reporting concepts and findings to nontechnical users
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance new development with ongoing support requests

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in analytics, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field
• Experience with Qlik Cloud and scheduled data reloads
• Familiarity with set analysis and techniques for improving Qlik application performance
• Experience supporting reporting across multiple business functions or data sources
• Familiarity with data quality, governance, and reporting access controls
• Experience documenting solutions and training business users
