As the Director of Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a dynamic global social media and influencer marketing strategy aimed at elevating brand visibility and resonance, driving audience engagement, and ultimately impacting customer acquisition. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will spearhead the development and implementation of an organic social media and influencer plan that resonates with our target audiences. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Communications, you will focus on ensuring and maintaining a vibrant, cohesive, and contemporary social media presence across a spectrum of platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and beyond, and spearheading the development of a lasting influencer strategy.
Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and in one of the following states - TX, FL, CA, NC, GA, CT, ME, KS, or VA.
What You'll be Doing

  • Develop, oversee, and enhance the execution of a comprehensive organic global social media and influencer marketing strategy that aligns with overarching marketing and business objectives.
  • Lead the team in developing, implementing, and executing innovative and effective campaigns.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at elevating brand visibility and resonance, driving audience engagement, and strategically influencing customer acquisition across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to oversee the creation of compelling, visually engaging content that aligns with NinjaOne's brand and voice, attracting, engaging, and retaining our target audiences.
  • Ensure ongoing engagement with our core audiences across all global social media platforms to foster a community amongst followers and customers.
  • Empower, lead, and mentor a talented social team, providing clear goals, guidance, support, and professional development to foster a collaborative work environment and uphold excellence.
  • Regularly employ analytics tools to set, track, and measure the performance of social media campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to continually optimize the program.
  • Stay up to date on evolving, innovative trends and emerging platforms to develop campaign strategies that continually enhance our brands visibility and engagement.
  • Travel: Expected 20% for events and conferences.


About You

  • 8+ years' experience developing, implementing, & optimizing creative social media strategies aligned with enterprise business goals
  • Experience in high-growth B2B tech environments required Unless you're part of Wendy's social team!
  • A deep ongoing love and understanding of the evolving social media landscape and modern best practices
  • Skilled in writing, copy editing, and crafting compelling content with meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for refining messaging
  • Proven leader who has a track record of successfully coaching their teams to become stronger professionals
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, adept at building cross-functional relationships to facilitate strategic social media execution and alignment
  • Skilled in developing and scaling YouTube strategy. Experience managing content for LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc. required
  • You thrive in startup environments, excel in fast-paced settings, embrace challenges eagerly, and are known for your influence and adaptability
  • Preferred BA/BS Degree in any field - we value diversity!

Additional Information
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $140,000 to $169,000 per year.
