Senior Technical Director / Director (Power and Renewable)

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Power and Renewable team in Asia
• Control and management of the whole life cycle of the Power and Renewable projects in the region

• Working closely within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specifications
• Liaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budget
• Be a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilities
• Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings
• Responsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiations
• Seek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactively

Requirements

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant science / engineering discipline
• Chartered Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 20 years’ experience in the Energy and Renewable sector
• Have strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
• Have a good command of written and spoken English.
• The role will be based in our Hong Kong Office.
• Near native fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Ability to speak Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) would be an advantage.
