Presently, an excellent career opportunity is available for a Director Sales – LNG and Gas Processing role within Honeywell Process Technology Middle East organization based in Abu Dhabi. In this position, you will lead the End-to-End LNG and Gas Processing technologies and aftermarket solutions deployment in the Middle East and North Africa. As a working manager, you will focus on the deployment of End-to-End LNG technologies and aftermarket solutions by developing, managing and negotiating commercial agreements – licensing, engineering, equipment, and service. By leading a team of experienced project sellers, you will also own all aspects of prospecting, developing, negotiating, and contracting said interactions with Honeywell Process Technology clients. You will provide suitable input for development of technical proposals and will be responsible for developing winning commercial strategies. This role is ideal for professionals interested in pursuing a career in Honeywell Process Technology Sales and Business Management.
Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle for new Gas Processing and LNG units, revamping existing units and aftermarket solutions in the Middle East and North Africa
- Lead, coach and bring to success the MENA LNG and Gas Processing sales team
- Bridge the benefits of synergistic offerings inclusive of Honeywell’s LNG and UOP’s Gas Processing and treating technologies and process automation and digital solutions to a specific customer application, highlighting the value and uniqueness of said solutions
- Lead project opportunities through the entire sales cycle: early involvement in client concept & feasibility phases through PreFEED and FEED phase, clarify bids throughout these phases, develop sales strategies, enroll, align sales support, submit proposals, and close deals
- Work cohesively with Honeywell’s Process Automation and Process Technology internal organizations through the complete sales cycle
- Accurately forecast project demand and revenue from assigned projects
- Deliver previously agreed financial targets and margins
- Lead Aftermarket Services to get existing and new assets in Gas Processing and LNG install base Connected with Honeywell Forge to drive incremental value outcomes for customers’ operating facilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- BS in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical) or other technical disciplines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in technical sales for refining and/or gas industries.
- Meaningful contract negotiation experience
- Understanding of the cultural background and business atmosphere in the Middle East and North Africa
- Ability to influence at various levels across UOP and customers’ organization
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% of your time
