Now, we’re entering our next phase of growth, powered by our game-changing B2B vendor marketplace that brings world-class corporate experiences to one place, and we’re looking for a Director of Revenue & Marketplace Growth to help lead that charge.
As our Director of Revenue & Marketplace Growth, you’ll lead our efforts in building, scaling, and optimizing a vendor partner program that generates revenue for us and high-quality corporate leads for our partners. You’ll report to teambuilding.com’s Managing Director and work alongside our sales and marketing managers to develop the strategic marketplace playbooks for sales outreach (B2B partners) and marketing strategy (driving customer demand).
You'll work closely with our exec team and department managers across sales, marketing, and ops to bring the marketplace to life, move fast on big ideas, and bridge both sides of the marketplace to create a flywheel of growth.
Your Mission:
- Build, scale, and optimize a profitable B2B vendor marketplace by:
- Recruiting top-tier vendors and converting them into paying partners.
- Generating qualified customer demand to fuel partner success.
- Creating scalable systems for retention, performance, and growth.
- Championing marketplace performance metrics, from conversion rates to customer NPS.
- Growing marketplace revenue and partner retention month over month.
What You’ll Do:
- Vendor Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Develop strategy for end-to-end partner sales: identify, pitch, and close companies to join our marketplace in collaboration with our internal sales team.
- Develop and refine sales decks, outreach campaigns, and pitch narratives.
- Experiment with and optimize acquisition channels.
- Marketing & Demand Generation
- Collaborate with our Marketing Manager to drive customer traffic to vendor listings.
- Evaluate & launch co-marketing campaigns, including webinars, email sequences, and PR.
- Ensure listings and partner content are optimized for SEO, UX, and lead conversion.
- Establish ROI benchmarks and communicate value clearly to partners.
- Marketplace Strategy & Vendor Lifecycle
- Track and report on key marketplace KPIs: monthly recurring revenue, churn, NPS, and more.
- Build a system of scalable processes for vendor onboarding, reporting, support, and retention.
- Collect and analyze feedback from vendors and customers to continuously improve UX.
- Report key insights to leadership and adjust strategy accordingly.
You’re a great fit for this role if you:
- Have 7-10+ years of experience in B2B growth, marketplaces, or SaaS sales/marketing.
- Have successfully built or scaled two-sided marketplaces or partner platforms.
- Love executing strong outbound sales and demand generation strategies.
- Are comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, sales, marketing, and executive teams.
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset: you’re self-directed, scrappy, metrics-obsessed, and results-driven.
- Lead with clarity, Level 10 integrity, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
- Know what looks good - you have a sharp eye for high-quality work even if you’re not a designer yourself.
- Bonus points if you’ve:
- Worked at a marketplace platform (Airbnb, ClassPass, Etsy, G2, etc.).
- Launched a new revenue stream or GTM strategy from scratch.
Compensation:
- $100,000 base salary plus up to 15% performance-based bonus and up to a 50% bonus upon successful completion of company milestones.
