What You'll Do:
- Lead and oversee restorative services, wellness programming, and fitness initiatives across the continuum of care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate restorative, fitness, and wellness programs designed to meet the needs and abilities of residents
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes
- Provide education, coaching, and support related to wellness, restorative care, and healthy aging practices
- Supervise and support wellness and lifestyle staff, ensuring quality programming and regulatory compliance
- Monitor participation, outcomes, quality indicators, and department performance to drive continuous improvement
- Assist with department budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning initiatives
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment that promotes resident independence and well-being
What You'll Need:
- Current LPN license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- Two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience required
- Experience working with older adults, seniors, or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Experience developing and leading wellness, restorative, fitness, recreation, or activity programs preferred
- Activity Director Certification is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of wellness practices, aging services, regulatory requirements, and person-centered care principles
