Our mission is simple: to profitably divert 1B+ textiles from landfill by 2030—and we’re on track to do it.
About the Role
SuperCircle is looking for a Resale Lead to own our resale value-recovery engine end to end — both the commercial side and the operational side. This means sourcing, vetting, and negotiating resale partners and channels in the same week you're reconciling a manifest line by line and managing logistics against a hard deadline.
This is not a strategy role. It is not a single-channel role. And it is not for someone who wants to own only half of the job.
You will be responsible for maximizing recovery value and speed-to-value on brand end-of-life inventory — trade-ins, overstock, excess and obsolete, returns — by routing each lot to the right channel and executing fast. You know the resale landscape cold: live sellers, eBay and ThredUp supersellers, Poshmark, wholesale resalers, liquidators, and off-price agents. You can run a competitive offer process, pressure-test a buyer's quote, and close a lot price — then turn around and build the manifest and manage the truck plan.
We need someone who can hit the ground running immediately.
What You’ll Do
Commercial — BD & Partnerships
- Source, vet, and onboard resale partners across channels: live selling, online marketplace supersellers, wholesale resalers, liquidators, and off-price agents
- Run competitive offer processes — assemble comparable quotes, build decision-ready channel comparisons, and present recommendations clearly
- Negotiate lot pricing and commercial terms with large agents and supersellers; hold your own in the room with operators who have 20+ years of experience
- Manage ongoing partner performance against recovery targets and program cadence; run partner QBRs and hold partners accountable
- Continuously map the channel landscape and identify new partners that improve recovery rates or unlock new inventory categories
Operations & Project Management
- Build and manage manifests end to end — intake, grading, channel allocation, packing plans, and final disposition
- Own the full logistics chain: PO/BOL coordination, truck planning, and handoff to invoicing
- Manage settlement reconciliation and billing handoff with precision
- Maintain Hub upkeep and inventory data integrity across active programs
- Produce monthly brand reporting — clean, decision-ready, and on time
Program Execution
- Own the launch of a large-scale resale program for a major fashion brand and early cross-brand resale engine buildout
- Run BD and operations in parallel against SOW deadlines — not sequentially
- Operate without a playbook when needed; build the process as you go and document it for scale
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in one or more of the following: seller-side resale in fashion or apparel, off-price or liquidation BD, reverse logistics or e-commerce operations — with real ownership of outcomes, not just support
- Deep, firsthand knowledge of the resale channel landscape — you can speak to specific channel economics, typical recovery rates by channel, and the difference between a strong quote and a lowball
- Demonstrated experience running competitive offer processes and negotiating with major resale agents, liquidators, or marketplace supersellers — you do not get intimidated and you can smell a bluff
- Hands-on experience building and managing manifests, PO/BOL, packing plans, and settlement reconciliation — you know the operational mechanics of moving physical inventory
- Advanced spreadsheet fluency: pivots, lookups, recovery-rate analysis, channel-mix modeling — you turn messy inventory data into clean, decision-ready output
- Experience operating in an early-stage or scaling environment where you personally stood up processes, tools, or partner relationships from scratch — not inherited them
- Strong written communication: you produce clear quote comparisons, partner briefs, and brand-facing reports without hand-holding
- A bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and the discipline to execute against hard deadlines — both the commercial and operational sides of this role, simultaneously
