At Fusemachines, we not only bridge the gap between AI advancement and its global impact but also strive to deliver the most advanced technology solutions to the world.

The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Product based in Nepal to serve as the operational and cultural anchor for our product organization. This person will be the right hand to the VP of Product, driving executional excellence across multiple product lines while developing the next generation of product leaders. This is a hybrid strategic-execution role — 75% focused on leading and enabling product delivery across teams, and 25% focused on supporting product strategy, GTM alignment, and customer discovery coordination. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering, AI, design, and sales teams across Nepal and North America to ensure we ship products that are outcome-driven, insight-led, and customer-validated.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers to strengthen execution, craft, and ownership.

  2. Partner with the VP of Product to translate strategic direction into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

  3. Establish and enforce product management standards, roadmap hygiene, PRD quality, release readiness, and discovery discipline.

  4. Create and operationalize Product Ops frameworks (templates, OKR tracking, demo readiness, and stakeholder rituals).

  5. Drive cross-functional synchronization between product, design, engineering, and AI teams.

  6. Coordinate tactical research and discovery synthesis for upcoming products and features.

  7. Partner with GTM and marketing teams to align product launches with strategic objectives and customer feedback loops.

  8. Serve as the voice of product leadership on the ground in Nepal, fostering clarity, accountability, and high performance.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

  1. 7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  2. Proven experience leading or mentoring product teams within fast-moving tech organizations.

  3. Strong understanding of modern product practices — discovery, outcome-based roadmaps, experimentation, and data-driven decision making.

  4. Experience working with international, cross-functional teams (preferably U.S.-based counterparts).

  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultural and functional lines.

  6. Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or enterprise software products preferred.

Who You Are

  1. A strong people-builder who believes great products come from empowered teams.

  2. Detail-oriented and structured, with a knack for bringing process and clarity to ambiguity.

  3. Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization and bridging communication between leadership and execution.

  4. Passionate about customer outcomes and relentless about continuous improvement.

  5. Success Metrics Improved roadmap visibility and execution consistency across product pods.

  6. Demonstrable growth in PM skill maturity and ownership. Strong cross-functional alignment (engineering, design, AI).

  7. Measurable impact on product delivery velocity and quality.
