**Candidate Note-this is a 100% remote position for candidates based in the US**

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Software Release Management to oversee the release processes of our cloud and on-premises product lines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software release management, with a strong focus on go-to-market strategies. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure high-quality, on-time releases while effectively coordinating with product, product marketing, sales, and other go-to-market functions.

Your impact will be:

  • Go-to-Market Coordination:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive release management strategy that aligns with go-to-market plans for cloud and on-premises products.
    • Work closely with product, product marketing, management, and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment between release schedules and marketing activities.
    • Lead Go/No-Go decisions with cross-functional leaders and to ensure project readiness before release
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all release-related inquiries and issues from go-to-market teams. 
    • Communicate release plans, statuses, and post-release reviews to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate seamless release activities.
  • Release Planning and Coordination:
    • Oversee the planning, dependency mapping, scheduling, and coordination of software releases, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand development progress and ensure releases are on track.
    • Manage release calendars for feature and maintenance releases, and organize prior release data into newly designed format.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks in the release process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
    • Maintain a focus on security and compliance throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously assess and enhance release management processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
    • Implement automation tools and practices to streamline release activities and reduce manual effort.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

What you will bring:

  • A positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years of higher level responsibilities in the tech ecosystem, with most recent years being a hands-on leader
  • Excellent diplomatic and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles

  • Experience with Monday.com and Jira systems
  • Project Management Certification

Comp Range (DOE & Location): $190-$240k base + annual bonus
