DE&ET Ad Platforms is responsible for delivering global adverting technology solutions for Disney's Linear and Addressable channels, brands, and streaming services. With unmatched scale, premium content, and innovative capabilities, DE&ET Ad Platforms is a market leader in advertising. We build and maintain proprietary technology solutions ranging from ad serving, programmatic ad solutions, self-service platforms, audience targeting, and advertising data.
As a Director, Product Management, within the Ad Platform technology team at DE&ET, you will be a part of the team defining Addressable advertising. You will be responsible for leading a team of product managers responsible for Disney's advertising sales financial systems including Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, and Content Partner payments. In this role you will own the product strategy, roadmap development, success measurement, and senior stakeholder management for your domain. The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex problems, lead and grow talent, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Defines the vision, tenets, principles, requirements, and priorities for the suite of Disney's Advertising Sales and Content Partner financial systems.
- Serves as a Financial Systems domain expert within the business and Ad Platforms technical community
- Drives executive and leadership alignment amongst business and technical partners around priorities and resourcing decisions
- Organizes team structure to maximize business success while ensuring appropriate matching between team member responsibilities and areas of expertise.
- Responsible for multiple roadmaps within their product domain and resolves any priority conflicts or trade-offs within those roadmaps.
- Defines success KPIs for their product domain.
- Drives alignment to a common product vision across a diverse set of stakeholders including Product, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance/Accounting
- Collaborates with Product Management peers to ensure Product Strategy and requirements align
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of product management or relevant experience
- Minimum 7 years of team management experience, including managing managers
- Minimum 5 years of subject matter expertise or expertise in adjacent industry
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Proven track record of building and launching products at scale
- Ability to articulate strategy and define roadmap
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CTV digital advertising
- Experience with Streaming TV business models and ad monetization
- Experience with Financial Systems and Accounting principals of a fortune 500 company
- Knowledge of agile software development practices
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $202,900.00 to $272,100.00 per year and in New York, NY is $212,600.00 to $285,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
