Director of Product (Agentic Platform)
We are seeking a Director of Product, Agentic Platform to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our next-generation Agentic Platform - the foundational layer that enables multiple application product teams, engineers, deployment teams, and clients to build domain-specific Agentic Applications with speed, reliability, and enterprise-grade safety.
This is a hands-on product leadership role , reporting to the Chief Product Officer . The ideal candidate has previously built AI platforms, agentic frameworks, orchestration systems , or complex ML-centric platform s. They must understand, at a practical level, how large language models behave , how to design agent workflows , and how to manage the lifecycle of prompts, evaluations, safety systems, observability, and multi-tenant deployments.
W e are looking for someone who has personally built or shipped real-world agentic products or platforms at scale.
What you'll do:
Platform Vision & Strategy
- Own the product vision and long-term strategy for the Agentic Platform , from runtime orchestration and prompt management to evaluation frameworks and observability.
- Define how internal PMs, engineers, deployment teams, and clients use the platform across the full lifecycle of agentic application development.
Product Execution & Roadmap Delivery
- Lead end-to-end development of platform capabilities while partnering with Architects, key internal stakeholders and clients .
- Prioritize roadmap based on a measurable impact on both product teams and external clients.
- Define stretch success metrics for the platform and deliver on those on quarterly basis.
Hands-On Product Work
- Write detailed PRDs , prompt specs, eval definitions, and user stories.
- Prototype agentic workflows and demonstrate deep comfort using:
- LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure, etc.)
- Vector stores & RAG pipelines
- Orchestration frameworks ( LangChain , LlamaIndex , custom frameworks)
- Work closely with designers to shape the user experience for low-code builders. Create their own prototypes or even an MVP in some cases using modern AI tools.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Engineering, AI/ML teams, Architecture, Security, and Client teams to deliver platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with Business Application PMs to understand domain workflows and ensure platform adoption.
- Work directly with deployment teams and strategic clients to validate platform usability and customization capabilities.
Quality, Safety, and Reliability
- Own eval strategy (regression, correctness, safety, and performance evaluations).
- Ensure platform meets enterprise-grade SLAs for reliability, cost transparency, safety, and auditability.
- Drive continuous improvement cycles using observability insights and agent telemetry.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Regularly interface with customers, internal teams, and executive leadership.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented communication.
What you'll bring:
- 10+ years of technical product management building platforms, with at least 3 + years of building AI/ML platforms or agentic systems .
- B.S. in Computer Science of equivalent technical degree.
- Hands-on experience designing or managing:
- Agentic workflows
- Prompt engineering and prompt lifecycle management
- Evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-judge, regression, safety evals)
- RAG and knowledge integration
- Multi-agent orchestration or tool-based agents
- Proven ability to architect platform products that support multiple internal product teams and hundreds of enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Writing prompts
- Running experiments
- Building o r using agent frameworks
- Can show an MVP portfolio or share github /other examples of building Agents for personal, playground or professional (that can be shared publicly) uses
- Debugging LLM behavior
- Strong technical acumen. Comfortable reading code-level artifacts, working with APIs, and discussing architectural tradeoffs
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Background in developer tools, ML infrastructure, or enterprise workflow systems.
- Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated industries.
- Prior leadership of platform teams.
