Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Presentation Services to lead the design, development, and execution of high-impact pitch decks and presentations for our agency. This role requires a top-tier presentation designer with deep expertise in PowerPoint and a keen eye for contemporary design, storytelling, and visual communication. The ideal candidate will transform complex ideas into compelling, high-impact presentations that resonate with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders. PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite collaboration. The role will be based out of our office located in New York City. All candidates must be willing to commute into the office on a regular basis.

Responsibilities 

• Oversee the end-to-end development of pitch decks, presentations, and visual storytelling assets for client pitches, business development, and internal initiatives.
• Collaborate with executives, business development teams, and creative teams to translate ideas and data into visually compelling and persuasive presentations.
• Lead and mentor a team of presentation designers, ensuring high-quality and brand-consistent deliverables.
• Utilize design tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite to create sophisticated, engaging, and impactful presentations.
• Develop and maintain agency-wide presentation templates, style guides, and best practices for visual storytelling.
• Manage workflow, prioritize projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve our presentation capabilities.
• Partner with external vendors or freelancers as needed to enhance presentation materials.

Qualifications 

• 8+ years of experience in presentation design, visual storytelling, or information design within an advertising agency, marketing firm, or related industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-level presentation design work, including pitch decks, infographics, and interactive presentations.
• Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.
• Experience in motion graphics or animation for presentations.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles for interactive presentations.
• Background in brand identity and data visualization.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, new business teams, and creative departments.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and visually engaging presentations.
• Exceptional eye for typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000

The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
