Head of Platform Engineering

We’re looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead our most foundational infrastructure teams — the technical backbone that powers everything we build. This is a critical leadership role for someone who can guide a growing team through high complexity, scale, and change — and who thrives at the intersection of platform depth and business impact.

• Engineering Management Experience

  • Experience managing manager-of-managers.

  • Proven ability to inspire, hire, coach, and retain senior engineering talent.

  • Skilled at scaling teams during periods of rapid growth and ambiguity.

• Technical Track Record

  • Deep experience in cloud infrastructure at scale

  • Expertise in modern infrastructure architecture — microservices, event-driven systems, container orchestration, and observability best practices.

  • Familiarity with GCP is a plus, but not required.

  • Clear point of view on on-call processes, escalation hygiene, and balancing reliability with developer velocity.

• Leadership

  • Operates well in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

  • Strong instincts around balancing long-term platform investments with short-term product demands.

  • Partners effectively with product, research, security, and GTM to align infrastructure priorities with business goals.

  • Known for clear thinking, strong execution, and building alignment through trust and communication.
