Location: Austin, TX (In Office, Full Time)

✨ Mission:
To grow revenue at selfpublishing.com through high quality, mutually beneficial partnerships and speaking engagements.

As Director of Partnerships, you'll open new doors for selfpublishing.com beyond paid and organic traffic. You'll research, connect with, and close partnerships and speaking engagements, then help turn those stages and webinars into real revenue and awareness.

When done right, this role grows revenue quickly by putting our mission in front of the right audiences, with the right partners, at the right time.

💪 What You'll Do:

• Close affiliate partnerships: Land virtual webinars, challenges, and workshops with partners for the selfpublishing.com team to run.
• Book speaking engagements: Secure in person stages where our team can share our mission and enroll new authors.
• Speak and sell from stage: Present at live events and convert attendees into new authors.
• Build a healthy pipeline: Generate new qualified opportunities from cold research, existing champions of selfpublishing.com, and past partners our team has worked with.
• Drive efficient growth: Deliver 500%+ return on ad spend by maximizing revenue per stage or webinar while keeping marketing and team fulfillment time low.
• Own your numbers: Track reach outs, discovery calls, and prospects in our CRM, and use that data to constantly improve.
  

🎯 What Success Looks Like:

In your first 30 days:

• Learn our process for finding, reaching out to, and closing partnership deals
• Add 200 prospects to your pipeline
• Book and run 10 discovery calls
  

In your first 90 days:

• Close 10 deals (stages or webinars)
• Complete 40 discovery calls
• Deliver two speaking events and drive at least $50,000 in revenue
  

In your first year:

• Generate over $1 million in revenue from partnerships you personally close
• Complete 10+ live events for $500,000+ in stage revenue
• Complete 24 affiliate partnerships for $500,000+ in non stage revenue

🧰 What You Bring:

Required:

• A proven track record of closing partnerships, business development, or sales deals
• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• Strong CRM and pipeline management skills
• Willingness to travel for live events
• Ready to work 45+ hours a week
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

• An existing network of affiliate partners, event hosts, or influencers
• Experience in the education, coaching, or publishing space
• A published book (or the dream to write one)

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Total compensation: Base $50,000 ($85,000 to $200,000 annually OTE) based on experience and performance

This is a full time, in office role (45+ hours a week) based at our Austin, TX headquarters, with travel to live events.
