Overview:

The Director role plays a strategic role in advancing OneHope’s mission through high-impact donor events, fundraising experiences, leadership gatherings, and global partner trips.

This role goes beyond logistics. You will collaborate to create meaningful experiences that inspire engagement, strengthen relationships, and elevate mission impact. From intimate gatherings to large-scale destination events, you will lead execution with excellence while collaborating across teams to deliver world-class experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Execution
  • Design and execute a comprehensive annual events strategy aligned with Advancement goals and organizational missional priorities
  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact domestic and international events
  • Build and execute an annual events strategy aligned with Organizational and Advancement priorities
  • Oversee all event phases from concept and logistics to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Analyze event outcomes, attendee feedback, and engagement metrics to strengthen future experiences
Experience & Relationship Building
  • Create transformational experiences that deepen donor and partner engagement
  • Design mission-centered events that inspire generosity and long-term partnership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver unified, high-quality experiences to ensure every event reflects excellence, intentionality, and mission alignment
Operations & Stewardship
  • Manage venues, travel, accommodations, AVL, speakers, vendors, and on-site logistics
  • Negotiate and manage contracts while ensuring operational excellence
  • Oversee event budgets responsibly while maximizing impact and efficiency
  • Lead post-event evaluations and implement continuous improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience leading high-level events, fundraising events, or donor experiences
  • Proven ability to manage complex logistics, large budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management experience
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Passion for creating meaningful experiences and advancing mission impact

Work Environment:
  • Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Occasional evenings and weekends for events
  • Domestic and international travel required
  • International collaborative work may require flexibility to accommodate different time zones
