About Manhattan Strategies, an Award-Winning & New-Age Consulting Firm

By 2035, the majority of CEOs and senior decision makers will be digital natives: people whose expectations will reflect a digital and visual life experience.

At Manhattan Strategies, our mission is rooted in a simple hypothesis: if you communicate visually, you maximize your power to compel action. To do it, we combine an attentive communications agency and a boldly ambitious design studio. Our work spans challenges of every size and stage, from pre-seed startups to Fortune 100 companies and from political campaigns to product launches.

Manhattan Strategies has been recognized by ADWEEK among the fastest-growing agencies and by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America and the best B2B public relations provider in the United States. The firm has also won dozens of awards for its design, web development, branding and video production.

About the Director of Operations

Manhattan Strategies is seeking a Director of Operations to serve as the firm’s senior operational lead, responsible for overall workflow, work operations and internal execution across the business.

This role is intended for a highly reliable, trusted operator with strong judgment and experience working in fast-growing organizations. The Director of Operations will work closely with senior leadership and team leads to ensure the firm operates smoothly, consistently and with discipline as it scales.

This role exists to make sure the firm’s internal operations keep pace with its growth.

They will serve as a trusted operational partner to senior leadership, translating priorities into execution. This role owns core business operations including invoicing workflows, payroll coordination, contracting, vendor management and administrative systems, and acts as a central point of integration across practice areas to identify and resolve operational risks or breakdowns.
  2. People Operations & Organizational Support (25%): The Director will support the firm’s people systems and organizational health, partnering closely with leadership and team leads on onboarding, role clarity, performance cycles and internal communication. While this role does not include direct people management, it plays a key role in enabling managers and teams by supporting workflow coordination and operational problem solving, reinforcing a culture of performance, integrity and pride.
  3. Process Design, Systems & Scale (25%): The Director will design, document and refine firm-wide processes, systems and workflows that allow Manhattan Strategies to scale without sacrificing quality or speed. This includes evaluating and improving internal tools related to operations and workflow management, simplifying handoffs, clarifying ownership and maximizing efficiency across teams to ensure the firm’s internal operations keep pace with its growth.
