Position SummaryThe Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care to patients, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with all nursing home regulations.
Maintain high standards of patient care.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Current registered nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact State.
Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a nursing role.
Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations is preferred.
Proven leadership abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the nursing field, with a focus on leadership and management roles.
