We are seeking a seasoned and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our clinical operations at a FIVE star 126-bed facility in Dallas, Texas. This community includes skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living residents, and we’re looking for a leader who can champion quality care, regulatory excellence, and team development.
Responsibilities
Oversee nursing services across skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living units
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability and compassion
Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic resident care
Prepare for and lead successful regulatory surveys and audits
Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and staff
Qualifications
Active RN license in Texas
BSN required; MSN preferred
Minimum 3 years experience as a Director of Nursing in long-term care
Strong background in regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Experience with memory care and assisted living populations preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
