Responsibilities:
- Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
