A skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Pinetown, NC is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead its nursing department and help ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for the nursing department.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
- Supervise and support nursing staff and department leadership.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident care plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Prepare for and participate in state and federal surveys.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Current North Carolina RN license required.
- Previous DON, ADON, or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and develop a nursing team.

Skills Required
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
- Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or nursing leadership experience
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience
