California Faucets is looking to bring on a Marketing Director. This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA facility.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the charge to grow our presence in the marketplace and increase our brand awareness. He/she is required to have excellent leadership skills, a proven record of effective budget management, and in-depth knowledge of all marketing channels (Search, social media, Content, Email, and Display), digital tools and platforms.

Most importantly, the Director of Marketing serves as a key brand ambassador that is dedicated to promoting the culture, story, and ideals of the company. In pursuit of this, he/she is responsible for building and managing the marketing team, leading all marketing initiatives from campaign ideation to execution, measurement and optimization and ensuring all efforts are integrated with relevant company functions to achieve company objectives in line with, and staying to true to, the core values of the brand. The Director of Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) or similar role.

In addition to these duties, the Director of Marketing will also:

· Develop an overall marketing strategy to include digital campaigns, printed copy, and partnerships to promote brand awareness and increase sales.

· Build, lead, and manage a team of Marketing focused roles.

· Set marketing KPIs and monitor team progress, ensuring marketing campaigns and organizational objectives are met

· Source for and work closely with marketing agencies to ensure the marketing objectives and strategies are clearly communicated and aligned

· Keep a close eye on the competition, determine realistic benchmarks, and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge

· Communicate on a regular basis with all relevant stakeholders including sales & marketing teams and IT department to ensure all digital efforts are fully synced up

· Plan and manage budget across all marketing channels and platforms

· Track and measure the performance of all digital marketing channels and propose optimization initiatives to maximize marketing ROI

· Keep abreast of the latest digital trends and continued advancements in digital technologies and marketing best practices

· Constantly strive to discover and adopt emerging technologies, digital innovations, and new platforms and systems to optimize organizational productivity and effectiveness

· Perform additional assignments per manager's direction.

Environmental and Safety Considerations:

This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional exposure to warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supervising the Marketing team. The Director of Marketing will provide leadership and direction to include:

· Hiring and onboarding new employees.

· Time and Attendance Management.

· Training and development of team members.

· Participating in performance management and discipline.

· Conducting regular performance reviews.

People Interface:

The position requires contact both within the department and between departments on routine matters. Routinely interfaces with management team at multiple levels of the organization.

Decision Making:

The position requires high-level decision making, using judgment and information to plan and execute decisions to solve problems or select courses of action which have significant impact on the organization.

Supervision Received:

Under general supervision, assignments are objective-oriented. Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with company policy where applicable. Able to implement solutions and independently make decisions in scenarios where no current policy or processes exist.

Accountabilities:

Education and Experience:

· Degree in Marketing or equivalent

· At least 8 years of experience in marketing

· Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing a team of marketers

· Experience working with digital agencies

· In-depth knowledge and experience using various digital marketing platforms and tools

· Proven track record of effective budget planning and management

· Experience interpreting analytics reports and producing actionable insights

· Experience working with and building consensus across cross-departmental teams

· Proven results in effective campaign management and implementation leading to achieving set target objectives

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create reports using Word and Excel.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
