Job Summary:

The Director, Marketing Operations, reports directly to the Vice President of MarketingThis role will lead and provide marketing operations support for the SpringWorks commercial organization including the promotional review process, materials production and fulfillment, and congress and other meetings and eventsThe person in this role will be expected to ensure business needs are met in a compliant, efficiently organized, and collaborative way

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as promotional review committee chair and work collaboratively with key cross-functional partners to optimize process to compliantly and efficiently meet the needs of the commercial organization. 
  • Lead and direct the print, digital content, and fulfillment process – including fulfillment portal system implementation, process documentation, socialization/training documents, forecasting, and projection methodology. 
  • Oversee meetings and events including congresses, field speaker programs, internal meetings, etc. 
  • Lead and direct a small team of internal employees and external providers. 
  • Effectively and efficiently lead cross-functional teams and complex processes in alignment with SpringWorks core values.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 9+ years direct experience in promotional or non-promotional material review processes and systems; within the pharmaceutical industry; preferably Veeva Vault PromoMats Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • 3+ years people management/leadership experience. 
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills and expert in stakeholder collaboration and management.  
  • Expert listening skills and with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. 
  • Capable of engaging senior management and external agency partners. 
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully supporting pharmaceutical brand launches through the MLR process through print production.  
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, pharmaceutical advertising submission guidelines and timelines to facilitate promotional and educational content approvals to support pharmaceutical brand launches. 
  • Highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Experience in working with various MLR technical and organizational tools. 
  • Experience proofreading of technical documents. 
  • Ability to build, manage, and lead multiple cross-functional partnerships and initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal teams to create and implement standardized SOPs. 
  • Demonstrable project management skills: proven ability to manage multiple tasks to conclusion, within allotted timelines/deadlines, and without compromise to quality.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and experience using collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Smartsheet. 
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $175,000 – $220,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
