As a Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in defining Spryker’s voice in the market, shaping our narrative, and driving measurable growth across all go-to-market channels.

THE ROLE

Reporting to Florian Speckbacher, EVP Go-to-Market, you will lead Spryker’s global marketing function - building a lean, high-impact team focused on B2B enterprise demand generation, product marketing, and commercial enablement.

This is a 50% strategic / 50% hands-on role, ideal for a marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and execution. You’ll be responsible for repositioning Spryker in the enterprise commerce ecosystem, developing bold narratives, and driving measurable pipeline growth through integrated campaigns, partner marketing, and account-based strategies.

You will:

  • Define and Execute Strategy: Build and lead Spryker’s marketing strategy in collaboration with the EVP Go-to-Market and executive leadership.
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and scale a high-performing team across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Partner Marketing.
  • Drive Pipeline Growth: Develop data-driven ABM and digital marketing programs that convert target accounts into qualified pipeline and measurable revenue.
  • Shape the Narrative: Rebuild Spryker’s product and brand messaging, turning complex technology into simple, compelling stories that resonate with IT, business, and executive audiences.
  • Build Go-to-Market Partnerships: Develop and execute joint programs with hyperscalers and ecosystem partners, supporting co-marketing and resale motions.
  • Own Brand and Creative Direction: Oversee brand consistency and creative excellence across all campaigns, managing external agencies and freelancers to deliver impactful, differentiated marketing.
  • Foster Alignment and Accountability: Work closely with Sales, SDR, Product, and RevOps teams to ensure marketing directly contributes to pipeline creation, conversion, and revenue outcomes.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 8-12 years of experience in B2B enterprise marketing within SaaS, commerce, or technology environments.
  • Proven track record in demand generation, account-based marketing, and product marketing targeting enterprise audiences.
  • Exceptional storytelling and creative skills - the ability to craft clear, differentiated narratives from complex technology.
  • Deep analytical mindset with fluency in marketing metrics (CAC, ROI, pipeline contribution, payback).
  • Experience working with partner ecosystems and hyperscaler GTM programs.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities - capable of building high-performing teams in fast-paced, scaling environments.
  • Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on; equally adept at vision-setting and execution.
  • Native English speaker, preferably with fluent German communication skills.
