  • Design and lead high-performance perception architectures utilizing numerous LiDAR/camera sensors.
  • Research and productize (Prototyping to Production) the latest computer vision and deep learning papers (CVPR, ICCV, IROS, etc.).
  • Advance multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR-LiDAR, LiDAR-Camera) algorithms and resolve complex edge cases.
  • Lead code reviews and design reviews, and provide technical mentoring for junior engineers.
  • Analyze system performance bottlenecks and establish optimization strategies utilizing various techniques including hardware acceleration (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT).
  • Collaborate with product teams and other departments to define technical requirements and support roadmap establishment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with 5+ years of professional engineering experience (or equivalent Master’s/Ph.D. research experience).
  • Experience in developing AI/ML-centric high-performance commercial software and deploying to production.
  • Deep understanding of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, etc.) and inference optimization.
  • Expertise in 3D geometry, calibration, state estimation, SLAM, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to debug and resolve complex system issues.
  • Experience leading technical decision-making at a team level.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in full-stack autonomous driving development.
  • Experience developing precise calibration algorithms between heterogeneous sensors.
  • Experience optimizing deep learning models on embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson).
  • Experience contributing to open source projects or publishing papers in major conferences in related fields.
