Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Logistics to lead all logistics, warehousing, material stores, inventory management, transportation, and ERP-enabled supply chain execution activities for the Engines Aerospace site. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing and distribution network while supporting operational excellence, inventory accuracy, customer delivery performance, and regulatory compliance.
The Director of Logistics will provide leadership for Material Stores operations, logistics planning, inventory control, warehouse management, transportation, and ERP process governance. This leader will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and IT teams to optimize material flow and drive continuous improvement across the site.
A strong background in ERP systems leadership and implementation is required, with demonstrated experience leveraging ERP platforms to improve inventory visibility, transaction accuracy, planning effectiveness, and operational performance.
ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Material Stores Leadership
- Lead all site logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, material stores, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and transportation activities.
- Ensure efficient material flow from receiving through production and final shipment.
- Direct Material Stores teams to maintain inventory accuracy, material availability, and production support requirements.
- Establish and monitor warehouse capacity, storage strategies, material replenishment processes, and logistics performance metrics.
- Develop and execute logistics strategies that support operational growth, customer delivery commitments, and cost objectives.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining service levels and production continuity.
- Ensure effective execution of cycle counting, inventory audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Partner with Procurement, Planning, and Operations teams to improve material availability and reduce shortages.
- Lead inventory reduction, excess and obsolete inventory management, and working capital improvement initiatives.

ERP & Systems Leadership
- Serve as the site logistics leader for ERP-related processes, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate execution of inventory transactions, material movements, warehouse processes, and supply chain data management within ERP systems.
- Lead ERP implementation, upgrade, integration, and optimization projects related to logistics and inventory management.
- Partner with Digital, IT, and Supply Chain leadership teams to improve system utilization and business process effectiveness.
- Establish system controls and compliance standards that support inventory integrity and operational excellence.
Operational Excellence
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and warehouse operations.

- Demonstrated ERP leadership experience (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) required.
- Experience leading Material Stores, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, material flow, and supply chain processes.
- Experience managing KPI-driven operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
