About This Role:
Crusoe is looking for an accomplished individual contributor for our Leadership and Talent Development Director position on the People Team. Reporting to the Head of Leadership & Talent Development, you will play a key-role in designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise development programs. You will co-deliver a best-in-class leadership program and offer inspired ideas for new leadership implementation. This position will require you to use your experience in building and executing integrated learning initiatives that drive high performance and enhance our employee experience and culture. You will help drive change-management strategies and champion initiatives that create a framework for employee career pathing and skill development. A Day In The Life:

  • Partner and consult with tech and operations leaders in San Francisco on professional development with the use of nationally-recognized resources for career pathing and job architecture across Crusoe. 

  • Execute inclusive people programs that engage, retain, and develop employees, including but not limited to: onboarding and ongoing lesson pathing, performance management, and talent reviews.

  • Present best in class leadership development training in San Francisco and across Crusoe’s footprint.

  • Build, execute and manage leadership development programming across various levels of the organization including early career leadership development program. 

  • Manage the Crusoe ALPINE Coaching Program with external coaching partners and support administrative responsibilities, tracking and reporting on progress and thematic data.

  • Partner with employee relations to support performance improvement process and employee development. 

  • Facilitate leadership event planning, team retreats and various training initiatives for various audiences within the organization.

  • Partner with Crusoe teams and leaders on providing solutions to every-day talent development needs and problems that may arise

  • Support the ongoing build-out of Crusoe’s job architecture and career competencies to best align with employee and talent development needs and progression. 

You Will Thrive In This Role If:

  • You are a self-starter with innovation and drive for excellence

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • 10+ years of experience in training, employee development, L & D or Organizational Development

  • Certification/ Experience in Leadership Development Training (SLII by Blanchard Companies preferred.)

  • Certification in Behavioral or Strengths Based Assessment Training Preferred. (DISC, Cliffton Strengths, Culture Index, Birkman etc.)

  • Practiced in leveraging and training on performance management software 

  • Exceptional written composition and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to conduct both small- and large-scale trainings with energy and professionalism

  • Proficiency in instructional design for live, virtual and LMS audiences

  • Experience with coaching and training professionals from individual contributors up to middle management. (Preferred)

  • Proven capacity to implement operations and processes in L & D to maximize business efficiency.

  • Willingness to travel domestically for trips ranging in 1-4 days in length at least 1-2 times per month.

  • Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $210,000-$230,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
