The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This includes managing a hybrid environment of PCs and Macs, leading the integration of acquired companies, and ensuring seamless migrations of email and file systems from both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep technical expertise, strong project management skills, and a passion for building scalable systems.
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead IT due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement.
- Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Ensure smooth operation of a mixed PC and Mac environment.
- Maintain network security, data integrity, and system availability.
- Support and optimize Slack as the company’s primary communication platform.
- Manage devices and IT needs for remote and on-site employees (4 offices, ~30% remote workforce)
- Migrations & Integrations
- Lead migrations of email and file systems from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to the company’s environment.
- Standardize and streamline IT systems across newly acquired entities.
- Team Management
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team.
- Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with:
- Microsoft 365 administration and migrations.
- Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Managing both Windows and macOS environments.
- IT integration during mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Google Workspace Administrator
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
- PMP or equivalent project management certification

Salary: $120-150k + Bonus Opportunity
