This role will report to - Vice President, Enterprise IT and Executive Leadership Team member

Leading through accountable pillar leads, the IT Director will need to ensure cross-functional integration, architectural discipline, and value-driven execution while balancing operational stability with transformation initiatives across cloud, SaaS, data, security, automation, and AI. This role carries end-to-end accountability for enterprise IT performance, service quality, platform maturity, and risk posture.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture

  • Define and execute enterprise IT strategy aligned to business priorities.
  • Establish architecture standards, integration principles, and technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with enterprise stakeholders to ensure technology investments are governed, scalable, and outcome-focused.

Information Security & Cybersecurity

  • Strengthen enterprise risk posture through proactive vulnerability management, incident readiness, and audit compliance.
  • Embed security-by-design across infrastructure, applications, data platforms, and AI initiatives.

 

Enterprise IT Infrastructure & Engineering

  • Provide strategic direction across cloud, network, endpoint, identity, collaboration, and core platforms through infrastructure leadership.
  • Accountable for platform reliability, lifecycle governance, and operational maturity across enterprise infrastructure.
  • Drive standardization, resilience, cost optimization, and business continuity across geographies.

 

Business Applications

  • Own enterprise platforms (ERP, HCM, CRM, CPQ, ITSM, Financial systems, collaboration tools, etc.) aligned to end-to-end business processes.
  • Lead application rationalization, modernization, and integration while balancing agility with architectural discipline.

 

Enterprise Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Own enterprise data platforms, analytics, and reporting capabilities ensuring governance, quality, and business alignment.
  • Drive enterprise data architecture, integration standards, and trusted data foundations across business systems.
  • Enable scalable reporting and self-service analytics through governed enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure measurable adoption, data reliability, and decision support across internal functions.

AI Enablement & Predictive Intelligence in Internal Operations

  • Drive responsible AI adoption across internal enterprise platforms, IT operations, and business enabling functions.
  • Develop predictive intelligence capabilities that improve planning, productivity, risk awareness, and decision making.
  • Identify and scale AI-led automation and intelligent workflow opportunities aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Ensure AI initiatives align with enterprise governance, security, and risk frameworks.

IT Operations & Service Management

  • Own end-to-end enterprise IT service delivery, performance, and user experience outcomes.
  • Drive operational excellence through automation, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder, Executive & Governance Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology, risk, cost, and transformation decisions.
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates in executive forums and governance reviews.
  • Establish transparent governance mechanisms that enable speed without bureaucracy.

Financial Management & Vendor Ecosystem

  • Own IT financial performance, annual operating planning, cost optimization, and value realization across the technology portfolio.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with cloud providers, SaaS vendors, system integrators, and security partners.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and build a high-performing enterprise IT organization.
  • Build leadership depth, strengthen internal capabilities, and ensure cross-pillar collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure clear accountability across pillar leads while maintaining enterprise-wide delivery ownership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 18–20 years of progressive enterprise IT leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading an enterprise IT organization or significant multi-pillar IT function, with accountability for strategy, operations, risk, and business outcomes.
  • Proven accountability for enterprise IT environments within consulting, technology services, or global enterprise organizations.
  • Demonstrated success balancing operational stability with transformation initiatives across cloud, SaaS, modernization, and automation.
  • Strong executive engagement experience, including governance forums, risk discussions, and budget ownership.
  • Experience operating within security-conscious, audit-driven environments.

Technical & Functional Depth

  • Enterprise infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, networking, identity, endpoints, collaboration platforms)
  • Information security & cybersecurity governance
  • Enterprise business platforms (Salesforce ecosystem, Oracle Fusion, SAP, ITSM platforms, collaboration tools)
  • Data platforms (BigQuery or similar), analytics, and AI enablement
  • IT operations, service management, and enterprise architecture
