Company Overview

Immunome is a clinical-stage targeted oncology company committed to developing first-in-class and best-in-class targeted cancer therapies. We are advancing an innovative portfolio of therapeutics, drawing on leadership that previously played key roles in the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge therapies, including antibody-drug conjugate therapies. Our pipeline includes varegacestat, a late-clinical stage GSI; IM-1021, a clinical-stage ROR1 ADC; and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radiotherapy that recently received IND clearance. We are also advancing a broad portfolio of early stage ADCs pursuing undisclosed solid tumor targets.

Position Overview

Immunome is hiring a Director, IT Planning and Program Management to help build and lead our internal IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) from the ground up. This role will establish portfolio governance and decision-making practices, standardize project delivery, and improve transparency and predictability across IT and technology-enabled initiatives. The Director will partner closely with IT and business leaders across Research, Tech Ops, Development, Commercial, and G&A functions to drive predictable delivery of infrastructure and enterprise system implementations that enable scale, portfolio advancement, and commercial readiness in a regulated life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

Establish and Lead the IT PMO Operating Model

  • Build Immunome’s enterprise IT PMO from the ground up, including the operating rhythm, standards, templates, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Define how projects are governed and delivered (IT-led, business-led, and vendor-led) and set clear roles and expectations for project managers and functional project leads.
  • Own IT portfolio financial management (business cases, forecasting, vendor spend tracking, planning and budgeting, and reporting of spend vs actuals) in partnership with IT leadership and Finance.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the IT PMO team, including internal project managers and external contractors/consulting partners, scaling the team structure, capabilities, and capacity in alignment with company growth and portfolio demand.

Portfolio Intake, Prioritization, and Capacity-Based Planning

  • Implement end-to-end demand intake and portfolio planning, including intake criteria, business case expectations, prioritization methods, and sequencing.
  • Maintain portfolio roadmaps and dependency management, and partner with IT and business leaders to align priorities to capacity, funding, and critical milestones using scenario-based planning across internal teams and external partners.

Governance, Decision Support, and Executive Visibility

  • Establish governance processes that enable timely decisions for technology investment, system selection, and program execution (including escalation paths and decision-ready materials).
  • Support and help run the IT Steering Committee (ITSC) under the direction of the committee Chair; provide regular IT portfolio updates to committee members.
  • Drive transparent reporting on schedule, risks/issues, dependencies, and delivery health across the portfolio.
  • Define portfolio success measures including adoption, operational readiness, and value realization, and lead post implementation reviews to improve delivery performance and business outcomes.

Program Execution Excellence

  • Drive consistent project controls across the portfolio (scope, schedule, change control, stakeholder communications) and coach project managers/project leads.
  • Provide delivery governance for vendor-led initiatives, ensuring accountability to plans, milestones, acceptance criteria, and risk management.

Regulated, Audit-Ready Delivery and PMO Enablement

  • Develop and maintain IT PMO policies, procedures, and SOPs aligned with FDA/GxP expectations; ensure project delivery practices support regulated system implementation and validation/assurance.
  • Advise on IT PMO tooling and workflows (e.g., Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Box GxP/SharePoint) and drive adoption through training and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project/program/portfolio management and/or PMO leadership; life sciences/biotech experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling PMO frameworks in growing or transforming organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise system and infrastructure implementations in a high growth life sciences organization across R&D and G&A functions.
  • PMP certification and ITIL v4 certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong command of project, program, and portfolio management methodologies; experience establishing governance models and executive-level reporting.
  • Working knowledge of regulated environments and enterprise controls, including relevant concepts such as SOX, privacy (e.g., GDPR), and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Experience supporting validation/assurance approaches (CSV/CSA) and third-party risk management (TPRM) in GxP-regulated environments.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, able to build business cases, forecast and track spend, and translate portfolio data into decision ready insights for executives.
  • Proficiency with PMO tools used for portfolio planning, reporting, and governance (e.g., Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Box GxP/SharePoint, Teams/Zoom).
  • Proven ability to create policies, SOPs, and training programs that drive adoption and consistent execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills; ability to lead through ambiguity and align cross-functional teams.
  • High integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive systems, data, and business-critical initiatives.
