What You'll Do
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of all systems.
- Network Management: Oversee the management of the company's networking infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, performance, and security across all physical and cloud environments.
- Endpoint Management: Drive endpoint management strategy, including device procurement, configuration, security, and lifecycle management, ensuring that employee laptops and devices are secure, updated, and optimized.
- Service Desk Leadership: Manage the service desk operations, providing a high level of support and continuous improvement to enhance end-user satisfaction. Develop and maintain ITIL-based processes to improve service delivery and incident response.
- Strategic Technology Roadmap: Build out and maintain a strategic technology roadmap that aligns infrastructure capabilities with organizational goals, supports future growth, and integrates evolving technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Security and Compliance: Work closely with the security team to implement policies and technologies that secure data and protect infrastructure from potential cyber threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term infrastructure strategies that align with the business’ growth objectives. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, analyzing performance metrics and driving operational efficiencies.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders, ensuring the right mix of resources, capabilities, and costs are optimized.
- Team Development and Leadership: Build and lead cross-functional teams in infrastructure engineering, cloud services, network administration, endpoint management, and service desk operations. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- IT Standards and Continuous Improvement: In alignment with the architecture functions, develop and implement standards, procedures, and operational IT processes. Systematically monitor for problem and opportunity areas, and proactively assess and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Business Knowledge: Leverage technical expertise and business acumen to align technology strategies with organizational goals, optimize resources, and drive productivity.
What You'll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 10+ years of IT experience with increasing leadership responsibility, including managing infrastructure, business applications, and support operations
- Proven experience managing large-scale cloud, network, and endpoint infrastructures for mid-to-large enterprises.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
- Expertise in endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, or Jamf).
- Experience in IT service management (ITIL frameworks,etc.).
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage timelines effectively.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing environments.
