Job Summary:
Centric Software is the #1 Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform for retail, fashion, and consumer goods. We are seeking a strategic Director of IT to lead our global technology vision. This is more than an operational role; it is a leadership position responsible for the 24x7 availability of our global cloud infrastructure, the security of our intellectual property, and the scalability of our internal systems to support rapid global expansion.
You will replace a tenured leader, inheriting a robust stack, and will be tasked with taking our Cloud Operations, Security Compliance, and Corporate IT to the next level of maturity.
What You Will Do
- Global Infrastructure Strategy: Architect and manage resilient, scalable, and secure global 24x7 cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure) to support our PLM and SaaS solutions.
- Security & Compliance Governance: Own the company’s security posture. Maintain and evolve policies for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOX compliance. Implement Zero Trust architecture and identity management systems to harden enterprise security.
- IT Operations & Service Delivery: Lead a high-performing global team providing Tier III & IV technical support and incident management. Establish clear SLAs and performance metrics for infrastructure reliability.
- Strategic Financial Management: Manage the IT P&L, including vendor negotiations, contract management, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
- Enterprise Application Integration: Oversee the selection and integration of internal enterprise business systems, ensuring seamless end-to-end data flow between cloud and on-premises applications.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Author and test robust DR/BCP strategies to ensure fault tolerance across all critical application platforms.
The "Must-Haves" (Qualifications)
- 10+ Years of IT Experience: With at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams.
- Cloud Native Expert: Proven experience architecting private/public cloud environments for high-availability SaaS companies.
- Compliance Veteran: Deep, hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks including SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA is non-negotiable.
- M&A & Scalability: Experience integrating technologies and teams post-acquisition (like Taleo/Oracle integrations) is a strong plus.
- Technical Chops: Background in Computer Science or related field. Familiarity with DevOps culture, CI/CD strategies, and modern IT service management (ITIL v4).
Why This Role?
- Impact: You will control the technology roadmap that powers the digital transformation of the world's biggest brands.
- Culture: Join a team known for integrity and collaboration, where individual strengths are leveraged to build high-performing units.
