Job Description:
1. Consulting Engagement Execution:
o Achieve successful execution of consulting engagements by providing expert guidance and support in instructional design initiatives.
o Ensure timely delivery and high-quality implementation of instructional design solutions for clients.
o Apply learning theories and models in training design.
2. Proposal Development and Research:
o Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop design recommendations for proposals.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to create compelling, innovative instructional design solutions aligned with client needs.
o Spearhead the development of POCs for new projects and accounts, demonstrating the effectiveness and feasibility of instructional design solutions.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative prototypes that address client requirements.
3. Course/Product Audits:
o Conduct comprehensive audits of courses and products to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with instructional design standards.
o Generate actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the quality and impact of learning materials.
o Design curriculum, create training macro and micro designs, create training materials, and write functional specifications documents (FSD).
4. Leadership in Learning Experience Design:
o Lead projects as the senior learning experience designer, providing high-level
design input and leveraging a consultative approach to meet customer
objectives.
o Mentor and guide team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
while maintaining a focus on instructional design excellence.
o Collaborate with multi-stakeholder teams to develop diverse learning solutions.
o Demonstrate interdisciplinary knowledge, cross-cultural competency, and
expertise in design principles and practices.
o Deep understanding of the edtech industry.
o Experience working with school districts, colleges, university to design program
level courses, as well as workforce development trainings.
o Ensure quality deliveries.
5. Thought Leadership:
o Contribute to Academian's thought leadership by writing articles and posts on
instructional design trends, best practices, and innovations.
o Contribute to developing the company's social media strategy and plan.
