Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, department leads, and key stakeholders across the agency.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Managing and leading organizational changes, including restructures, reductions and terminations.
- Partner with departments to build effective team structures, enhance organizational effectiveness, and implement HR strategies that drive business performance.
- Oversee employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and resolving conflicts in a proactive and professional manner.
- Regularly monitor employee turnover, conduct exit interviews, and develop actionable plans to improve retention rates.
- Partnering to development and execution of leadership development programs that align with business goals and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
HR Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Own the development and maintenance of people analytics dashboards that provide real-time, actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, areas of opportunity, and potential risks related to turnover, engagement, diversity, and other key HR metrics.
- Create and present reports that translate complex HR data into clear, business-friendly insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with HR Operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and HR policies, providing guidance to leadership on compliance related matters.
Team Management & Development:
- Manage, coach, and develop direct report(s), helping them grow professionally and achieve team objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing HR team culture that aligns with the agency’s values and goals.
Business Acumen & Stakeholder Management:
- Exhibit strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the advertising industry, its challenges, and its talent needs.
- Partner with other HR leaders (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) to ensure a cohesive, aligned people strategy.
- Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to business challenges, offering HR strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Occasional travel (up to 25%) required to meet with teams and leadership across multiple office locations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership development, HR business partnering, and HR analytics
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret HR data to drive business results
- Strong understanding of HR systems, Excel, analytics tools, and reporting dashboards (experience with ADP, Workday, Visier, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relations matters in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in the execution of HR initiatives
- Experience managing and developing HR team members
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple states
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.) is preferred.
The annual gross base salary range is $115,000 - $150,000 USD. This range represents the anticipated target salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Salary is one component of BarkleyOKRP's total compensation package, which includes multiple health insurance options, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401K.
