The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director, HR Business Partner to work with senior leaders in the Adobe Unified Platform organization (AUP), which includes Engineering, Product Management, Business Operations and Program Management functions. This role will help align business objectives with people strategies including a focus on developing leaders and teams, driving organizational effectiveness, engaging our employees, fostering an inclusive culture, and prioritizing the highest impact solutions.  We work together as One Team, embrace our differences, and have fun along the way. What You’ll Do 

  • Proactively identify and address critical organizational and people issues, and remove barriers impeding the success of the business 
  • Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to senior leaders in the organization
  • Build future bench and upscale capabilities through development of top talent and strategic hires 
  • Ensure the implementation of the optimal organization design to enable the leadership team and the organization to scale 
  • Instill a culture that resonates with Adobe’s values of Create the Future, Own the Outcome, Raise the Bar, and Be Genuine 
  • Deliver, in partnership with our COEs, HR cyclical programs to the business, as well as lead unique HR initiatives and projects with global impact to the HR organization as needed 
  • Lead Employee Experience for the teams you support - you are the "Chief People Officer" for your business
  • Be a leader throughout Adobe - speak up, keep it real, and agitate when necessary
  • Speak "business" more than "HR" lingo

What You Need to Succeed 

  • 10+ years of HR Business Partnering or relevant leadership experience 
  • Experience partnering with engineering or product teams at scale is a plus
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Creativity is in your DNA- this is Adobe after all. We love to challenge the status quo, especially in HR
  • Ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment along with a willingness to always be learning

  • Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills and a sense of urgency
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $152,200 -- $293,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
