The Position:
We are pleased to present an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced HR business partner esteemed organization, supporting the Global Operations function. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the organization and responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of talent management, employee engagement, culture, change management, and employee relations in their client group. This position can be based out of our South San Francisco or San Diego office (hybrid), and we are also open to remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with senior leadership to understand strategic objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals. Act as a trusted advisor and provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, including talent management, organizational development, organization design, workforce planning and employee relations. Align HR initiatives with business strategies to drive performance and growth and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to influence decision-making.
- Talent Management and Development: Lead talent management processes, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development & coaching for client group in partnership with Global Talent Director. Partner closely with business, Talent, and Finance Department regarding workforce planning strategy. Identify and address talent gaps and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by implementing initiatives that promote employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions for client groups while maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies and partner closely with Employee Relations COE on these efforts. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, innovation, and patient-centricity.
- Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication. Create and implement change management strategies to support organizational transformations and other initiatives. Communicate effectively with employees to ensure understanding and on board for change initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Apply HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs for the aligned business. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on key HR indicators and trends. Implement data-driven solutions to improve HR processes and outcomes. May have responsibilities to manage HR budget for the aligned business.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years HR experience with at least 3 years of HRBP experience
- Ability to influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives.
- Track record of strong business partnership and cross functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast paced environment; a strategic leader who takes initiative and ownership,
- Strong business acumen and sound knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations, and business practices
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience with employee relations, HR investigations, and performance management
- Travel readiness, some travel may be required
- A good human, interested in driving solutions that will impact Veracyte and the patients we serve.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

$170,000—$210,000 USD
