Job Description :

The Director, Growth will be responsible for developing, applying, and managing a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals for Edge’s integrated direct-response service offerings.WHAT YOU’LL DO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategies for relationship development and lead generation including cold outreach,  attending conferences/meetings, monitoring syndicated resources, networking, and preparing and presenting new business presentations to new clients.
  • Pursue, qualify and help close key sales opportunities for services provided by Edge
  • Ensure sales offerings are closely coordinated and in alignment with internal product offerings
  • Understand the client's requirements as well as set and manage their expectations
  • Leverage in-house tools and syndicated research to identify potential new clients.
  • Responsible for maintaining and fostering the relationship with assigned clients through onboarding process
  • Responsible for assessing and implementing methods to further the relationship and revenue opportunities between Edge and the client
  • Stays up to date on the trends within competitive landscape to help communicate our advantage and to breakthrough noise.
  • Manage own admin needs: calendar, meetings, travel, budget authorizations etc...
  • Customizes presentations to fit the audience while staying true to the brand integrity of the agency and our core USP
  • Work closely with Growth team to leverage marketing materials for lead gen initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field of study
  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development experience in the Direct Response industry
  • Aptitude to translate sales experience to an integrated direct response marketing agency
  • Confident, professional and persuasive communicator
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience working with senior level executives in a corporate environment (C-level/VP)
  • High energy, positive, self-motivated, “can-do” attitude, flexibile, and attention to detail
  • Displays a high degree of initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to overcome obstacles and create opportunities
  • Approachable and collaborative

Salary: $125,000 annually + Commission
