Walmart's Federal Government Affairs team is seeking a strategic, experienced, and mission-driven Director of Federal Government Affairs to lead our advocacy and engagement on key healthcare issues in Washington, D.C. This role will serve as the company’s lead lobbyist on federal healthcare policy, representing Walmart before Congress, the Administration, and key stakeholders. What you'll do:
- Serve as Walmart’s lead advocate on federal healthcare policy before Congress, the Administration, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute a strategy for legislative and regulatory issues impacting Walmart’s Health & Wellness & Benefits teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with Walmart's Health & Wellness and Benefits teams to align policy strategy with business priorities.
- Monitor, analyze, and provide guidance on federal legislation and regulations related to, but not limited to, employer-sponsored insurance plans, reimbursement systems, Medicare, Medicaid, and pharmacy operations.
- Represent Walmart in external forums, including industry coalitions, trade associations, and public policy events.
