We’re looking for a Director of Global Total Rewards to design, lead, and continuously improve our compensation, benefits, and recognition programs across Europe and the Americas. This role is critical in ensuring our rewards strategy is competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals and company culture. You’ll partner closely with regional HR leaders, senior management, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver programs that attract, engage, and retain top talent in a rapidly growing, global environment.
What you’ll do
Strategy & design:
Develop and evolve a global total rewards philosophy and framework that supports business objectives, values, and talent strategy across regions.
Drive harmonization and alignment between regions while maintaining local flexibility for legal and market nuances.
Oversee all components of total rewards, including base salary structures, incentives, bonuses, commissions, and non-cash recognition programs.
Conduct market benchmarking and compensation surveys to ensure global competitiveness and internal equity.
Recommend strategic program adjustments based on evolving market conditions and company growth.
Partner with the CTO organization to define people levels and establish role benchmarks.
Compensation & incentives:
Design and maintain salary ranges, pay grades, and leveling frameworks using market data and internal analysis.
Lead annual and off-cycle compensation reviews, including merit increases, bonuses, and special adjustments.
Develop and manage incentive and commission plans in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Conduct pay equity audits to ensure fairness and compliance across geographies.
Benefits, health & welfare:
Lead the design and administration of benefits programs across the Americas and Europe (healthcare, retirement, wellness, leave, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local laws, tax, and social security requirements in each country.
Manage vendor relationships — including selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring — ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Optimize and expand U.S. benefit offerings while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Operations, Systems & Data:
Oversee rewards operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity.
Leverage systems (e.g., PeopleForce) to manage compensation cycles, reporting, and analytics.
Deliver data-driven insights and modeling to HR, Finance, and leadership, providing scenario analysis, ROI, and forecasting on reward programs.
Drive process automation and efficiency within compensation and benefits operations.
Train and coach HR and business leaders on reward-related practices.
What you’ll bring
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
Significant experience leading total rewards programs in global, matrixed organizations.
Strong familiarity with U.S. and European compensation and benefits practices.
Expertise with PeopleForce (compensation & performance modules, data structures, reporting).
Experience managing 401(k) plans and analyzing employer match options.
Proven track record managing vendors, contracts, compliance, and cross-functional partnerships.
Deep knowledge of reward analytics, modeling, and benchmarking.
Skills & Competencies:
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to align rewards with financial and organizational goals.
