Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and experienced finance leader to serve as Director, FP&A – Corporate Consolidations & G&A. In this highly visible role, you will lead the company’s consolidated financial reporting processes and drive excellence across planning, forecasting, and enterprise‑wide analytics. You will partner closely with senior executives and cross‑functional FP&A teams to deliver insights that shape decision‑making at the highest levels.

Acting as a key liaison between functional FP&A teams and corporate leadership, this individual will synthesize financial results, evaluate business performance, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the company’s financial processes and reporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Consolidation & Reporting

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of quarterly forecast vs. actual results at both the enterprise and program levels for Senior Management.
  • Oversee the development of quarterly financial performance materials for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Partner with External Reporting, Accounting, and FP&A teams to ensure alignment, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated financial data.
  • Maintain high standards for data integrity, analytical consistency, and transparency in all reporting.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Drive the planning, preparation, and execution of the Annual Operating Plan and Latest Estimates.
  • Establish and refine processes to enhance forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and company-wide financial alignment.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards that enable clear visibility into business drivers.

Business Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to G&A functions, providing meaningful insights into trends, variances, and operational performance.
  • Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for functional leaders and executive management.

Systems, Tools & Process Improvement

  • Act as the System Administrator for Adaptive Planning, ensuring consistent data structures, system optimization, and end-user adoption.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve scalability, reporting efficiency, and analytical depth.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, portfolio evaluations, and corporate decision-making.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A team members to strengthen analytical capabilities and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture across the finance organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting, and enterprise‑level planning processes.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross‑functional senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise with planning systems (Adaptive Planning strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive‑presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, manage complex data environments, and deliver business insights.

The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $250,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to; skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location. Please note that the required compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits unless otherwise provided.

Mirum has submitted a Marketing Authorization Application to the European Medicines Agency for maralixibat for the treatment of cholestatic liver disease in patients with Alagille syndrome. Mirum’s second investigational treatment, volixibat, also an oral IBAT inhibitor, is being evaluated in three potentially registrational studies including the OHANA Phase 2b study for pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, VISTAS Phase 2b study for adults with primary sclerosing cholangitis, and the VANTAGE Phase 2b study for primary biliary cholangitis.
