About the Role:

We are looking for a Director- Finance (Technical Accounting) to join the Finance team. You will work with Innovaccer’s Finance team to drive financial operation for the company.You will lead the company’s accounting policy and financial reporting processes, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and industry-specific SaaS accounting standards. This role will provide technical accounting expertise and serve as a key advisor on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, M&A, equity compensation, and financial statement preparation.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead the research, analysis, and implementation of complex accounting standards, including new GAAP pronouncements.
  • Provide guidance on technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and business combinations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on technical accounting topics and new accounting issues.
  • Review methodologies and calculations connected with the most significant accounting areas, often including management estimates and assumptions.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos and white papers to support the company’s accounting positions
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for the company's financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
  • Streamline and optimize consolidation processes through the implementation of best practices and system enhancements.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial disclosures and the timely submission of filings
  • Coordinate with legal, investor relations, and external auditors to ensure compliance with SEC regulations
  • Conduct periodic training to update finance and accounting teams on new and emerging accounting standards.
  • Manage complex equity compensation accounting (e.g., stock options, RSUs, ESPPs) and ensure compliance with applicable rules and disclosures.

What You Need:

  • Deep understanding of the U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply technical accounting concepts to real-world situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex accounting issues to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of developing teams
  • Experience in a high-growth, public SaaS company
