The Role

Title: Director, Events

Reporting to: VP, Integrated Marketing

Location: Remote, US

Department: Marketing

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Establish and own the events strategy to drive awareness and engagement with prospects and develop loyalty and growth with customers

·      Focus in three key areas: owned events, tradeshows and conferences, and partner/customer events

·      Own, execute and evolve the Quickbase annual user conference, Empower, strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand, and the go-to-market teams

·      Build event experiences that connect and educate the Quickbase Community (The Qrew)

·      Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to define agenda’s and content strategies for owned events

·      Establish strong cross functional relationships and lead the development of the content strategy, including keynotes, breakout sessions, hands-on workshops and peer-to-peer networking opportunities

·      Create and execute a sponsorship program that drives revenue and partner value

·      Develop and manage the events team roadmap, timelines, and resource plans

·      Partner with demand gen leaders to establish an events marketing program of tradeshow and conference sponsorships intended to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth

·      Own the production of tradeshow/conference sponsorships including the contracting, booth footprint and build, onsite execution and staffing logistics

·      Partner with the broader marketing team to ensure that all events are properly promoted and supported

·      Manage and support a high performing, engaged team of event professionals

·      Maintain events budgets and track spend across multiple channels

·      Establish and build relationships with third-party event agencies and vendors for support where needed

·      Provide event support for employee events where needed and provide subject matter expertise to other internal teams

 

Qualifications

·      10+ years of experience in events marketing, with experience leading teams to deliver successful B2B marketing activations

·      Strong attention to detail and logistical components for event planning

·      Ability to lead and grow a team

·      Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage complex projects simultaneously

·      Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
