We are looking for a technical leader to help us build new products and scale our infrastructure from the ground up. As a fast-growing health tech startup, we’re looking for a candidate who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work on projects ranging from dev ops to bug fixes to new product build. A good candidate is a fast learner, an analytical problem solver, has experience building a team of A players, is organized and an excellent communicator.
- 5+ years’ experience in engineering leadership in a fast-growing company, ideally SaaS healthcare start-up experience
- Experience building a team of A-players
- Experience working in our tech stack: Serverless Framework, SQL Server RDS, AWS Lambda, S3, NodeJS, React, .NET 6, C#. We are also HIPAA and SOC2 Type II compliant
- Interest and curiosity in tackling interoperability in U.S healthcare
Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture decisions as we scale, balancing feature development with long-term tech investments to keep the platform healthy and nimble
- Build and maintain our cloud infrastructure in AWS, ensuring security vulnerabilities are identified and resolved timely
- Mentor our engineering team to reliably and efficiently operate our core product. Help the team reach their full potential
- Define milestones and track roadmap progress alongside Product, Sales and Operations, incorporating customer feedback into our products
- Communicate cross-functionally to align with client-facing teams on expectations and releases
- Lead daily team standups, maintain backlog hygiene, resolve bugs and be held accountable for exceeding sprint metrics
