We foster a collaborative culture grounded in continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork—core to how we operate and succeed. As we continue to scale and evolve, finance plays a critical role in ensuring strong governance, operational excellence, and the insights needed to drive sustainable growth.

This role represents a pivotal leadership opportunity to lead our EMEA accounting operations function, delivering accurate, controlled, and efficient accounting processes that underpin business performance. You will build and scale a high-performing team while embedding best-in-class financial controls and driving improvements across core finance processes. Sitting at the intersection of finance, technology, and transformation, this role offers the opportunity to leverage platforms such as D365 to modernise and streamline operations.

What makes this opportunity compelling is the ability to shape a growing accounting operations function while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business. You will directly impact cash outcomes, strengthen governance, and enable better decision-making through improved metrics and insights. For a leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about inspiring change, this is a unique opportunity to build capability, lead transformation, and leave a lasting imprint on a critical function.

What You'll Do

  • Lead EMEA D365 finance operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled accounting across the region.

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance operations team responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, transactional finance, month-end close, and D365 controls.

  • Oversee accounts receivable and collections, improving cash conversion and reducing overdue balances.

  • Lead specialist finance areas including fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting.

  • Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and compliance across all processes.

  • Partner with regional finance leaders, shared services, and business stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

  • Drive process improvements through standardisation, automation, and effective use of D365.

  • Support the build and scale of the finance operations function, shaping team culture and ways of working.

  • Develop metrics and reporting to monitor performance, risk, and effectiveness.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and support career growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience leading finance operations, controllership, or shared services teams in a multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in balance sheet controls, reconciliations, transactional accounting, and governance.
  • Experience with ERP and close platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and BlackLine.
  • Proven track record delivering process improvements, automation, and finance transformation.
  • Experience managing accounts receivable and driving working capital improvements.
  • Solid knowledge of fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams through growth and change.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across finance and operations.
  • Continuous improvement attitude with a focus on simplification, standardisation, and automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in regional or global shared service environments is advantageous.
