As Director, Digital Product Management you will collaboratively partner to advance the Consumer and Business Banking client servicing digital platforms. This role will define product strategy and user experience to deliver reliable, competitive and innovative digital client solutions. The primary focus of this role is to drive profitability by designing and executing on digital strategies that enable revenue growth, client retention and align with the bank’s long range planning objectives that you will collaboratively deliver in partnership with IT and others.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage digital products strategy and life cycle including desired client experience, features, functionality, pricing, marketability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide market intelligence on product information, gap analysis, pricing and competitive positioning.

  • Act as a Product Owner across relevant agile teams to perform LOB tasks and advocate for LOB priorities.

  • Partner with IT to manage roadmap and backlog for digital products, ensuring capabilities are delivered on time and per expectation.

  • Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development and user acceptance testing.

  • Identify and implement new processes, capabilities, or innovation that drives improved operational efficiencies.

  • Facilitate UX design sessions to complete user/task analysis and journey-mapping and assist in the implementation of UI ser story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.

  • Define and report on relevant key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee the change management process by partnering to deliver communications and training on product introductions and/or enhancements to both colleagues and clients.

  • Anticipate non-obvious risks and propose recommendations to address these risks.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years digital product management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or equivalent in related work experience

  • Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a deep understanding of core banking technology systems and processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

  • Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Developers, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, UX and other roles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex environments to drive team success.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience developing and reporting on key performance indicators

  • Superior communications skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization and explain complex concepts to a wide range of audiences

  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to prioritize high volumes of work from a multitude of sources while maintaining the highest quality standards, exceptional organizational skills

  • Strong leadership qualities and a collaborative attitude

  • Accountability and drive to achieve results

  • Natural drive for innovation and creative problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design for creating competitive Online & Mobile Banking solutions and Digital Payments experiences

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software.

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $169,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
