About This Role:
As the Director of Digital Product Management within our BNA Commercial IT team, you will hold a strategic leadership position pivotal to establishing enterprise-grade digital product management capabilities. Your role involves scaling modern agile delivery frameworks, specifically SAFe, to drive operational excellence across highly complex commercial platforms. You will be the premier authority on digital product lifecycle execution, bridging high-level business strategy with technical execution. Leading a dedicated team of Solution Delivery Leads and techno-functional analysts, your focus will be on eliminating operational inefficiencies, optimizing business workflows, and fostering a delivery ecosystem that maximizes platform value and commercial readiness. This position is integral to our organizational switch to a SAFe delivery model, ensuring alignment with our overarching business strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, develop, and coach Solution Delivery Leads and techno-functional analysts, ensuring performance and delivery accountability.
- Define product vision, roadmap priorities, backlog management, and strategies for value realization as the Product Owner for Patient Engagement platforms.
- Drive business process assessments and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and user experience in patient services and commercial operations.
- Establish and mature SAFe delivery practices, governance standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement disciplines.
- Act as a strategic liaison, aligning business stakeholders, digital strategy teams, delivery organizations, and external vendors.
- Lead platform stabilization, business readiness, adoption initiatives, and post-launch optimization.
- Govern product management best practices across the portfolio.
- Coordinate platform delivery, architecture decisions, vendor management, and release planning.
- Establish governance, operating models, portfolio performance measures, and business readiness frameworks.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
- 12+ years of progressive IT leadership and digital product management experience.
- Demonstrated experience within Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven experience implementing and scaling SAFe methodologies.
- Expertise with Salesforce Health Cloud, Patient Engagement platforms, CRM ecosystems, and related healthcare technology solutions.
- Strong leadership experience in leading multi-disciplinary product and delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving product ownership, delivery governance, and operational transformation.
Preferred Skills:
- Highly preferred certifications include SAFe, Scrum, and Salesforce certifications.
- Experience in strategic roadmap development and execution excellence.
Additional Information
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
