Director, Digital Product & Platforms
Tribeca Enterprises  |  New York, NY  (Hybrid Work 2 days remote) |  Reports to the General Manager, Live Events  |  $150,000 - $200,000
About the roleTribeca is looking for a Director, Digital Product & Platforms to lead our digital product portfolio — setting the direction, deciding what we build, and holding the standard for the experience audiences have with us.
Tribeca Enterprises is a multi-platform media and entertainment company founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal. It comprises the Tribeca Festival — entering its 26th year in June 2027, spanning film, TV, music, audio, games and immersive work.
Our digital products are how audiences discover Tribeca, plan their time with us, and buy from us. The website, the ticketing and membership experience, the CRM and the systems that connect them serve audiences, filmmakers, industry and partners alike. This role leads all of it — and grows it as the business grows. What you would own
  • Tribeca’s digital product strategy, portfolio priorities, roadmap and backlog across web, mobile, ticketing, membership and CRM.
  • The client-side relationship with our development agency — scoping, estimate challenge, delivery cadence, acceptance and commercial escalation — working alongside the agency’s technical director as your technical counterpart.
  • Prioritization across an, at times, competing set of stakeholders: programming, marketing, partnerships, ticketing, and membership.
  • Digital product and development budget, including forecasting spend and recommending where investment goes.
  • A cohesive audience experience across every digital touchpoint, with ongoing measurement and iteration beyond launch.
Where you would startEvery year brings a new Festival cycle — submissions in the fall, on-sales through the winter, the Festival in June, and year-round programming in between. In your first year, the focus would be:
  • Leading a refresh of the website — navigation, search, discoverability and a purchase experience that converts.
  • Bringing a festival companion mobile experience to market.
  • Making our CMS as self-serve as possible — so programming and marketing can publish, update and optimize day to day without waiting on a developer.
  • Providing marketing, partnerships and sales comprehensive digital performance measures.
  • Putting product practice in place — how requests come in, how they get prioritized, how work gets accepted, how success gets measured.
From there, the job is continuous: improving what we have, taking on new lines of business as Tribeca grows, and making each cycle better than the last. What we are looking for
  • 7+ years in digital product management, with at least 2 years owning strategy, portfolio priorities and delivery across multiple products or platforms.
  • Experience owning product outcomes from inside an organization — living with the results of your prioritization, not just executing someone else’s roadmap. Consultancy background alongside that is a plus.
  • Demonstrated client-side management of development agencies or technology vendors.
  • Comfort moving between a strategy conversation with leadership and a delivery-detail conversation with an engineering team.
  • Enough technical fluency to challenge an estimate, read an architecture diagram and hold your own in an integration discussion. You do not need to be an engineer.
  • Experience using audience data and product analytics to decide what to build.
  • Consumer-facing digital product experience. Entertainment, live events, media, ticketing, membership or cultural-sector experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience delivering against deadlines that cannot move — festivals, live events, launches, retail peaks, broadcast schedules.
  • Experience owning or substantially managing a digital budget and making real investment trade-offs.
You may be especially good at this if you
  • Can tell an urgent request from a real priority, and can explain that difference to the person who made the request.
  • Bring structure to an environment with several platforms, several vendors, many stakeholders and a fixed date.
  • Think of digital products as one connected ecosystem rather than a set of separate platforms.
  • Are curious about new technology without chasing it for its own sake.
  • Enjoy building an organization’s capability, not only shipping the next project.
  • Have been accountable for what happened after launch — adoption, performance, iteration — and not only for the launch itself.
The shape of the job

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence. You will report to the SVP & General Manager, Live Events, and serve as Tribeca’s senior internal leader for digital product and platforms.

The role has no direct reports. Design, engineering, QA and other specialist capabilities are provided through our development agency and contractors. You will lead and direct these external resources — setting priorities, defining requirements, managing delivery and holding partners accountable for quality, timelines and results.

  • Ability to work between leadership strategy discussions and engineering delivery details
  • Technical fluency sufficient to challenge estimates, read architecture diagrams, and participate in integration discussions
  • Experience using audience data and product analytics to inform product decisions
  • Consumer-facing digital product experience
  • Experience delivering against immovable deadlines such as festivals, live events, launches, retail peaks, or broadcast schedules
