We are seeking a professional Director of Data Center Strategy & Development with strong domain expertise in the data center industry.
This role will serve as the company’s internal data center domain expert, supporting the development of large-scale data center projects across the full lifecycle — from early-stage development through planning, design, and delivery.

Bring practical, real-world data center expertise into the organization and support key decisions related to:
- Customer requirements
- Site development and selection
- Technical design and architecture
- Development strategy
- Ecosystem partnerships
Domain Leadership
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on data center development
- Provide guidance on global best practices across hyperscale, colocation, and AI-focused data centers
- Support strategic and technical decision-making across projects
Customer & Market Understanding
- Understand requirements of hyperscalers, AI compute providers, and enterprise clients
- Translate customer needs into development and design parameters
- Support engagement with potential customers and partners
Development & Planning
- Advise on site selection and feasibility
- Support planning considerations: power, fiber, cooling, land, permitting
- Guide early-stage development strategy and master planning
Design & Technical Coordination
- Define key design requirements: power density, cooling, redundancy, scalability
- Support selection and management of technical advisors and consultants
- Ensure alignment with industry standards
Project Delivery Support
- Support construction and delivery phases
- Guide key decisions, milestones, and risk management
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations and execution
Industry Network & Partnerships
- Leverage global relationships across the data center ecosystem
- Identify and engage partners, advisors, and suppliers
- Maintain awareness of industry trends
- 10–15+ years in the data center industry
- Experience in development, design, construction, or operation of large-scale data centers
- Strong understanding of hyperscale and AI infrastructure
- Experience working with major developers, operators, or hyperscalers
- International experience is an advantage
